Dr. Mester is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Diseases from The American Board of Internal Medicine. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine, his residency was completed at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology training was at the USF College of Medicine. He is reported in the US News and World Report “Top Doctor” as one of the best physicians.
Dr. Mester is currently Medical Director of Electrophysiology Laboratory at Tampa General Hospital, Chief of Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiac Surgery at Brandon Regional Hospital, Medical Director, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Brandon Regional Hospital, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at the University of South Florida.
His major interests are in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Catheterization, Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty, Permanent Pacemakers, Implantable Defibrillators, Nuclear Cardiology and Congestive Heart Failure.
