Dr. Khan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Board certifications include Nuclear Cardiology, Vascular, and Echocardiography. She obtained her Medical Degree from the Dow Medical College and completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Khan began a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Circulatory Physiology in congestive heart failure, cardiac transplantation and ventricular assist devices at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, New York; a Fellowship in Cardiology at the State University of New York, Stony Brook, New York; and an Echocardiography Level III Fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute, Houston, Texas.
Dr. Khan’s major interests lie in noninvasive cardiac imaging, congestive heart failure, valvular heart diseases, nuclear cardiology, and peripheral vascular disease.
