Dr. Bugni is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Cardiovascular Diseases from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Chicago and obtained his training In internal Medicine and Cardiology from the University of Utah.
Dr. Bugni has served as Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Louisiana State University Medical Center and University of South Florida College of Medicine. He is involved in Clinical Cardiovascular research, and his findings have been published in peer review journals and textbooks.
His special interests are Clinical Cardiology, Cardiac Catheterization, and Cardiac Transplantation and multi-slice CT Coronary Angiography.
